If someone was in danger, he would quickly show up and assist to their needs. He was known as the savior to the people on earth. Towards the middle of the movie, when Lois talks to Superman, she questions him as to why the world needs a savior. She says, “How could you leave us like that? I moved on, so did the rest of us. The world doesn’t need a savior.” Superman is confused why Lois is questioning him. He responds with, “You say the world doesn’t need a savior, but I hear people crying every day.” Superman can hear when people need help since he is always around. He strongly believes that his duty is to save others and stop crime for the greater good of the people. This is similar to Jesus. Jesus is always watching and looking out for the people. He is telling Jason some important information. Superman says, “You will be different, sometimes you’ll feel like an outcast, but you’ll never be alone. You will make my strength your own. You will see my life through your eyes, as your life will be seen through mine. The son becomes the father and the father becomes the son.” He then leaves Jason and talks to Lois promising he will be around and will not leave. Superman made sure that Lois and Jason understand that he will always be there watching and keeping them safe at all times. This is similar to Jesus.
