Have you ever thought about how religions have multiple similarities? Did it ever cross your mind that two totally different religions could have so much in common? Well, Islam and Christianity are two different religions but with a lot of in common. Some of the similarities are that they both have a sacred book, both have some of the same beliefs, and last but not least they both have many followers. What is a sacred book? A sacred book is any book regarded by a religious body as a source or divinely inspired statement of its faith, history, and practices, as stated on Google. In other words this is their bible. In Islam the name of their sacred book is Quran, as for Christianity their book is called the Holy Bible. In these books you could find many things. One of these things are the five pillars of Islam (Quran) and the 10 Commandments (Holy Bible). The five pillars of Islam are rules that Muslims are supposed to carry in their daily lives. Well, both of these religions are monotheistic meaning they believe in one God. In Islam there's a prophet name Muhammad and in Christianity there's a truly divine Trinity known as Jesus Christ. Islam (Muslims) and Christianity (Christians) both believe that Jesus was born by Virgin Mary, they also believe that there will be a judgment day and everyone will get judged based on their sins.
