In summary, on 05/24/17 at 2025 hours, Ofc. K. Fuentes #295, Ofc. Rangel #203, Ofc. Cuchna #261 were dispatched to 2310 S 57th Avenue in regards to a Man with a Gun. Cicero Police Dispatch related information two (2) male Black subjects have a gun and there was also a male Hispanic involved. Dispatch related more information that there was a vehicle involved that possibly ran over one of the male subjects.

Ofc. Rangel #203 located a male black and male Hispanic in front of 2414 S 57th Ave. with the firearm (see supplement). I took three (3) photographs of the firearm, which was located in the front lawn of 2414 S 57th Avenue. The male Hispanic was laying on the front lawn next to the firearm, he was later identified as (Martinez, Saul DOB 02/12/02). The male black was later identified as (Shackelford, Jermaine S. DOB 12/03/93) in order to sell a pair of shoes to Saul. Jermaine related they picked up Saul near his residence to complete the transaction. Jermaine related he was driving with Shaqell in the front passenger seat and Saul was in the back seat of his vehicle (2017 blue Hyundai IL ZY39124), at which time Saul pulled out a gun pointing it at him. Jermaine further related that Shaqell and he fought Saul for control of the gun. Jermaine related he lost control of his vehicle and struck a parked vehicle (2004 silver Acura IL V739251) in front of 2419 S 57th Avenue. I made contact with the owner (Reynoso, Angelica) of the Acura at 2414 S 57th Avenue and she was provided with a crash report number. A crash report was completed by Ofc. Fuentes #295. Jermaine’s vehicle was towed to the Cicero PD vehicle barn by Metro Towing. I transport Jermaine to the Cicero Police Station for further interviewing. Nothing further to report at this
