Over the summer of 2017, I was able to experience what it would be like to use my hidden-inner outspoken personality by volunteering for a doctors' clinic. Given the opportunity to be able to shape my character unintentionally was new yet different at the same time. This may seem small compared to many, yet this was extremely significant towards my social skills. During the three weeks I volunteered for the clinic, I was able to accommodate and get adjusted to the new environment. The first 2 days were nerve-racking as again not being used to the environment made me feel uneasy yet after being given more responsibility, diving in felt like I've been working at the clinic for years.
