In my personal life I can be more direct in conflict. In the business atmosphere, they are rules and policies to follow. I don’t care for conflict, but I definitely don’t like let things linger. I am very direct and feel that when an issues comes to surface it needs to be handled as soon as possible. One of the advantages of conflict resolution is collaborating which leads to finding a resolution beneficial to all parties involved (Huebsch). Some of the potential disadvantages is that collaborating doesn’t always find a compromise.
