Compare And Contrast The Legacy Of Alexander And Philips Empire

Alexander and Philips empire was very successful. Alexander was tutored by the philosopher Aristotle until he was 16 years old. After Philip was assassinated in 336 BC, Alexander succeeded his father to the throne and inherited a strong kingdom and an experienced army. Their empire defeated the Persian empire. After Alexander's death the empire went into a 40 year war and chaos. Alexander's most immediate legacy was the introduction of Macedonian rule to huge new areas of Asia.
