The movie "Creed" and the novel When I Found You by Catherine Ryan Hyde are about two troubled boys. The boys both have a dream of becoming professional boxers. When they were younger they struggled and had been in Juvenile Hall. They did not know their biological parents and that have frustrated them some. They were raised by someone who had wanted to take them in that was not related to them. the novel and movie have many differences.
The first difference is the boys had different jobs. Nat works at a dairy factory which is manual labor. Nat also has a GED due to the fact he was in Juvenile Hall until the age of 18. Nat does not make much money at his job, he is also very lucky to have his job. His guardian, Nathan, pulled a few strings for Nat to even get an interview at the factory. Nat's trainer Manny is not very well known for anything. He runs a small town boxing center. Manny is not a boxer because of his build so he did not pursue a career in boxing. Manny just trained others in what he could not do. On the other hand Donny's trainer is a very well known boxer. His name his Rocky Balboa. Rocky had fought Donny's dad back in the day. Unlike Donny, Rocky knew Donny's father and the talent he has passed down to Donny.
The last difference is the outcome of their last match. Nat's last match is not official and is unregulated. Unregulated matches or typically not safe and usually end bad. Nat takes a few good hits to his side and a blow to his head. Nat gets knocked out in his last match. He also gets a concussion which later turns out to be very bad head trauma. However Donny's last match went much better. His match is official and safe to participate in. This fight is very popular because his dad is a well know fighter. Donny lasts through all 12 rounds with only taking a rough beating to his
