The DTE presents a summary of the assessment results for all CBA degree programs at the University Assessment Committee's (UAC) annual program review meeting. This meeting is usually held in December or January. The UAC's primary role is to annually review the assessment plans and results that are submitted by each academic and administrative unit, and to provide feedback and support to aid program improvement and improvement in the assessment process (UAC, 2007). Thus, the UAC supports both institutional effectiveness and accreditation. The UAC members vote on whether to accept or not accept the report. Although the UAC has no official disciplinary authority, it does report to the UCF President on all academic and administrative unit assessment results. A degree program that shows lack of progress in assessment, for example, can receive a written warning or be required to attend supplementary meetings with the UCF administration, although this has never happened within the
