I gave a brief glimpse example of the case of a young 16 year old girl named Leanne Tiernan, who was found in a wooded area which was 10 miles from her home in Yorkshire, in the month of November. Leanne was Christmas shopping on day and never came home. Days later, Leanne was found in a green plastic bin liner that was tied with twine. Inside the green liners the investigators saw that Leanne also had a black bag wrapped around her head and it was held together with a dog collar, and had a scarf and cable ties that were around her neck. She also had cable ties that kept her wrists locked together. After reading this case and the steps the investigators did to solve it was what I think should've been done due to the readings. The investigators were right on track when they focused on the physical evidence, which in this case was the twine, the dog collar, hair, scarf, green plastic bin liner, blood, black bag, and the cable ties. The investigators took steps on contacting all distributors that sold dog collars and twine and which they found a match and they said that they sold these items to a man named John Taylor just months earlier. The investigators got a warrant and searched his home where they found another identical dog collar, and more cable ties
