Client Name: Crystal Monahan
The visit started out today with Crystal feeding all four of her four children healthy snacks. However, right after they had their snack Crystal gave the two older children a fruit roll up. EV Staff did not say anything at that time, but as the visit progressed every time the children would ask for a fruit roll up Crystal would say, "sure". EV Staff stepped in and talked with Crystal about limiting the amount of sweets she was giving her children. Crystal pointed out that they were healthier then most option which EV Staff agreed, but explained to Crystal that there needs to be a limit on the food, and not a free for all. Aimee finally calmed down, and Crystal was able to re-direct her and start playing with all the children in the living room. Crystals dad showed up the last 20 minutes of the visit, and the visit went a lot smoother with his help. Crystals dad entertained the twins, so Crystal was able to play in the playroom with both of her older children.
Check in: EV Staff checked in with Crystal and reminded her to stick to the schedule as much as possible, limit sugar, make sure all the children are safe, and to come up with things that she can do with all the children, or in the same are so she can see them all at the same time.
Caregiving: Crystal is trying to be consistent, but with four kids and Aimee acting out Crystal has a hard time caring for all children at once. EV Staff is working with Crystal on sticking to the schedule during the visit, so Aimee will have less behaviors.
Child Development: Crystal worked with her two older children with some educational flash cards during part of the visit.
Structure: Crystal is trying to stick to the structure. EV Staff is working with her to stay on top of sticking to the schedule. The children are still getting use their moms change in her parent style, so they need time to adapt to the change as
