We see that teens are the ideal target for cigarette company’s due to society thinking it cool and that because their friends and family does it they should to. Maybe it would make them fit in or make them seem edgy but the truth is that smoking is a society problem. As stated, “cigarettes become indices of social membership for adolescents who are searching for their identities or who wish to escape the immediate reality into which they have been born,” (Brown et al 2010). We cannot change a whole culture base on one people beliefs. In order to make a change we must first recognize everyone values and customs then try to help. By helping we can come together can make a change with both views and shows that we can come together. The main focus is to help future generation that will go through this issues and teach them ways to come up with a better solution that value both sides. The best part of these class is the way we were able to communicate and share our different values and beliefs. I personality believe that what I learned in these class as allowed me to see differences all around when it comes to health issues.
