1 Discuss the quote by Caras on slide #3 (Perception and Cognition). Caras may be suggesting that we all identify and recognize situations differently because situations effects people in different ways depending on a number of factors like history and background, life events, environment. Beliefs are every individual are made with the different views when interceding and their ideology and culture perspective gender and values are considered as well.

Discussing Mad Theory relates to a diverse set of cultural identities. We can talk about racism and how it affected the African American race or Jewish community or the war veterans who have fought for the safety of the United states let’s not forget the LGBTQ community. These cultures as discussed in the power point to be mental diversity not about illness but positioning. Being understood and having the right to be respected and supported by its own country for whom they are in society and being accepted.
5 What do you think are some of the most fascinating aspects of the brain?
The most fascinating thing about the brain is its ability to change. Also how we process specific skills and abilities from the left and right side of the brain. As discussed in the power point the right brain has some great functional abilities that a person capabilities to dream or imagine create and have holistic thoughts of value. The Left side of the brain as discussed in the power point is reasoning abilities as to analyzation, language and number skills as a group we beliefs are that the brain is amazing and phenomenally constructed.
