December 31st, 2009 will forever be a date that I will remember for the rest of my life. It's New Years Eve, I awaken to the sounds of birds chirping outside my window. The sunlight coming through my window warming my whole body as I wake up. Sitting up on my bed as I rub my eyes to fully wake up I hear the sound of sirens in the distance, like in New York where you hear sirens but can't tell where they're coming from. I've learned that fear is horrible thing, but it can also be helpful to others. In the blink of an eye my life changed and it left me with the reminder that fear is something we all have to go through at one point in our lives. To those who are scared to face your fears I must say this to you, don't let your fears get in the way of keeping you from acheving the things you want to do in life. The best way to get rid of fear is to face it straight on and just hope for the best. I know that everyones fears are different and have different outcomes, but if you never face it you'll never know how strong you really are. Keep on looking forward and make sure that you believe in
