The meaning of love, by definition, “is a feeling of strong or constant regard for and dedication to someone” (Love, Merriam Webster). There are many different versions of love including boyfriends and girlfriends, family, husbands and wives, or best friends. Aside the differences, love can be shown with anyone, including a chemistry type of love or just a, “I love you bud.” With this being said, I don’t believe that love has to get in the way of a boy and girl friendship. I met my best friend, Jacob Windham, on May 25, 2016. It was the very last day of the school year, and I had never actually spoken to Jacob before.
