Miranda (Meryl), carries each costume with poise and her stilettos are to die for. All this is accompanied by her dazzling entry from her car or when showcasing her cold demeanor in a scene where she is found to not share an elevator with anyone and finish the conversation with every person in the room by “that’s all.” If looks could kill, Meryl Streep would for sure be the sensational fashion industry’s notorious killer.
Also, The Devil Wears Prada is filmed in New York and in the fashion hub; Paris that gives the movie an imaginative and climatic background that takes us into the more profound universe of fashion where scenes of disloyalty and stealing away another person’s credit are shot. For example, the well-known scene filmed here was when Miranda doesn’t want to let go of her job and refuses to let Runway Magazine stylist, Nigel (Stanley Tucci) work with James Holt as a creative director and instead offers that post to someone else. This piece of the movie blew my mind completely. I was as shaken as Andrea was in the
