Dialogue Essay: The Death Of Ginny

Stefan's funeral was two days later, and Ginny was not able to go. Within an hour of Stefan's death, Ginny began to feel ill, her head pounding and her stomach feeling as though someone was trying to rip it from her body.
This pain, however, was nothing compared to the mental anguish she felt. She was lost. Between her bouts of unconsciousness all she did was cry, her mind refusing to believe what her eyes had beheld, Stefan was gone.
Gone.
That one word hung on Ginny's lips, stuck itself in her mind, and it was as though she could feel it in every fiber of her being. This illness, this blasted illness, had nearly taken her Lissy, had taken her Stefan, and now seemed quite determined to take her as well.

She was still not at her best, but she had not had a hallucination for a few days, which Dr. Ward said was good sign. Her head still pounding though and it took a minute to see Mother.
"What is it Mother?" she said, rubbing her eyes. She wondered what had been going on since she fell ill. She prayed no one had come down with the fever. Lissy had finally recovered, and Ginny remembered - or she thought she remembered- being told Nelly and Elias Markley, one of the footman, had had a small version of it but were fine.
"His Lordship is coming to see you. He heard," Mother's voice began to crack, "about your brother's passing and your illness. He wishes to offer his condolences."
Ginny's aching head could barely comprehend what her mother was telling her. She was sick, her brother had died, the last thing she wanted was to deal with his lordship. She wanted to rest and recover, be left alone; she did not have the strength to fight off Christian and if he treated her anything like the first time, GInny knew that her recovery was most definitely going to be
