Over the past couple of decades, diversity in the workplace has been an increasing norm, which is visible in many companies. The reason why life is marvelous is that people can meet different people, experience different life style, and visit different sites. Diversity is crucial for the world. I will choose the second one “the group should be diverse” which means I want subject matter experts, but also want others who can offer differing points of view since being around people who are different from us makes us more creative, more diligent and harder-working (Philips, 2014). A diverse organization includes people in different culture, backgrounds, skills and thoughts, and it can make people learn from each other to do better on their presentation and paper. The Importance of a Diverse Workforce One of the most influential writers of the renaissance, Michel de Montaigne, saw the crucial significance to conquer ignorance and to utilize the knowledge within every individual. He simply stated that, “There never were, in the world, two opinions alike, no more than two hairs, or two grains; the most universal quality is diversity (Michel).” Diversity of genders, races, abilities, religions, and age provide better performance from the integration brought through various backgrounds. The success of a corporation depends on a strong, diverse management team with the ability to collaborate to lead the business forward. The company will continue to grow and prosper from the work done from a uniquely built team of employees, ensuring wide acceptance from customers and the ability to attain equal opportunity in the workers’ careers.…
