What is divorce? It is the legal dissolution of a marriage by a court or other important entity. It has a lot of negative effects on the society. In 2012 Dubai alone recorded 1129 divorces with divorce among Emiratis making one up one-third of all separation. 47% percent of Emiratis divorces happen in the first three years of marriage. In order to have a socially cohesive society, one must respect the fact that family is the backbone of the society. In the UAE the act of divorce has become very rampant and also a big threat to the society. When one or both of the couples get so busy with life, they forget the importance of there family and feel divorce is not a big issue so they go for it.
EFFECTS OF DIVORCE
Divorce has a very serious effect on the society; it causes great changes in lives and is considered the most serious family issue. It has effects on both couples and there children. Unfortunately, it happens to have more effects on the children. Many parents only consider themselves and do not look back to there children. Children only are enough reasons to stay married.

At the lowest and personal basis, divorce really affects the couples and there children.
