I knew that it was not going to be any different from the food I used to eat in South African; however, I was expecting more varieties here in the US. After settling into my room, we immediately went to a KFC shop to buy something to eat. Even though some of my friends were surprised by the food, mostly the pizza, chicken and the hamburgers, I was not. It was exactly what I expected, ‘the junk food’ as we call it in my country, Rwanda.
