Effects Of Peaceful Resistance On A Free Society

Peaceful resistance can negatively impact a free society. Resisting anything is one of the worst things anyone could do because of how much damage and trouble it leads you and your society towards. When you resist arrest, that can put you in more trouble than getting arrested would even put you in. Many people these days has been peacefully resisting what the laws are enforcing. Resisting can and will let a type of authority know that you will not follow any rules that have been given to society. Resisting doesn't make anyone a hero or a savior, it simply makes the person look like a martyr. Martyrs do things to seek attention rather than doing it for a good cause. Doing negative things will always follow you around because the more you do it, the harder it gets to stop following in those footsteps. Protesting is one way of resisting some things that the government does to protect us. I say this because when you protest, you don't follow any rules or listen to any type of authority when they say what you are doing is unnecessary. Sometimes, following the rules and giving in is the best way to impact your society in a positive way. You don't always have to be that person who acts out of character to let people know you will do anything to become a "hero." We all know that the people who made a positive impact on the world are people like Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, Malcolm X, President Barack Obama, and more. You can be that next person by following the rules and being the same person you are on a daily
