Startled Iago slams the blade of his sword into the gut of Emilia. She falls to the ground coughing blood pleading her innocence in the death of Othello. Iago begins to pray claiming he didn’t know it was Emilia who had jumped in front of him. Emilia slowly begins to speak but before she can her last breath enters her lungs. Now Emilia lies limp just as the man does that she had killed. Desdemona watches in shock still hidden. However she manages to keep quiet and hold back a rivers worth of tears. As she stares upon Othello and Emilia she cant believe her ears. Iago begins speaking to Othello as if he wasn’t there lying dead as a fly. He starts off by saying;” My poor Othello I’m so sorry my friend I should of never lied to your beautiful soul about your lovely wife I only told her you cheated so you would focus more on taking rule.” Suddenly Desdemona emerges from behind the curtain and grabs the dagger from Othello’s neck. She looks at a very confused Iago and says;” You fool I would never cheat on my love look what you have done.” Iago with a very confused nervous look on his face drops his weapon and begins to run. Desdemona follows him through the hallways cursing and screaming. When she stops and listens for Iago she hears movement coming from down the
