The famous mystery novel, And Then There Were None is written by the all time best-selling novelist Agatha Christie.
I had never read anything by Agatha Christie, so I was very excited to read this book, because I was told that it was an amazing book, and I decided to give it a try, even though mystery novels really aren’t my prefered genre.
And Then There Were None is afterall one of the best-selling novels of all time, so I had a few expectations, but I can honestly say that this book has exeeded them all.
The story is about ten people who are sent to an island called Soldier Island. The drama starts almost as soon as they’ve all arrived, because it’s revealed that they all have one big thing in common… they’ve all killed someone, either on purpose or on an accident.

I think that the book was easy to read, because it was so simply written and it didn’t have long complicated sentences, so it’s easy for the average person to read. Which is probably also why the
book has gotten so popular. It’s exciting, easy and it leaves you wanting more everytime you turn the page. So the fact that it’s one of the most sold books in the world, doesen’t really surprise me…
I think that everyone should read this book sometime in their lifes, because it truly is a classic. This book will stick with you for a very long time. It might haunt your dreams for a night or two, but it really has left an impression on a lot of people I know, who also read the book and enjoyed it almost as much as I did. I would rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars, mostly because my mystery hating self still feels a bit icky about the fact that it’s a mystery novel, and I feel like I’m giving too much in if i rate it 5 out of 5.
So I’m going to rate it 4.5 out of 5 dead
