Until the revolution they were almost enslaved. Russia pulled into a massive revolution that overthrew the government and made a new government system referred to as communism. Animal Farm had its revolution and battles and animals were assigned to certain tasks they were best fit to do, and we're all equal on the farm. Until the pigs decided to become greedy and let history repeat itself and they brought the farm back to what it was with Mr. Jones. Greed it's crazy thing. In Animal Farm, never trust a pig who gives off the impersonation of a pig. Satire is clearly present and is the topic of the story, and this can be a good lesson or way to spot corruption before it happens.
