Men and Pigs Many lessons can be learned from the book Animal Farm by George Orwell. In this book he displays human activities displayed as animals on a farm and how they exist. There is obvious satire in the story, there are talking animals and impossible acts that they commit that have no natural meaning in reality. Real life events seem to be slightly referenced in this text, it can be used to realize how much of animals we really are along with the lessons there are to learn. Never trust a man who gives off the impersonation of a pig. George Orwell has a great way of showing how he feels man acts. He places human mind sets as animals on a farm. We as a population can use this text to spot our faults before they happen. The Russian Revolution is almost explained. Russia used to be ruled by one man who had an iron fist and things were only done his way. There were little freedoms and no one had a say in anything. The population did as they were told and could not question it. Animal Farm was the same exact way with Mr. Jones. The animals worked and couldn't do anything to fight it. Until the revolution they were almost enslaved. Russia pulled into a massive revolution that overthrew the government and made a new government system referred to as communism. Animal Farm had its revolution and battles and animals were assigned to certain tasks they were best fit to do, and we're all equal on the farm. Until the pigs decided to become greedy and let history repeat itself and they brought the farm back to what it was with Mr. Jones. Greed it's crazy thing. In Animal Farm, never trust a pig who gives off the impersonation of a pig. Satire is clearly present and is the topic of the story, and this can be a good lesson or way to spot corruption before it happens. Pigs obviously can't talk but it refers to what man can look like when too much power gets in his head. We also can use this to compare the history of events to support a lesson.
