Essay On Moon Landings

Were the Moon Landings real or faked? Were the “Moon Landings” real or were they fictional? Let’s find out, this issue is creating controversy between many Americans nowadays. I’m talking about the “Moon Landings” of 1969, you know that day when all the Americans turned on their televisions to watch this amazing accomplishment. These so called “Moon Landings” were during the time of the Vietnam War.People want to know if this important moment in time was reality or just a lie. I personally think that the “Moon Landings” were real. I have plenty of hard factual evidence explaining my opinion. These are just a few of the facts and evidence I own currently. The first reason is my eighth piece of …show more content…
This evidence states that the astronauts brought back rocks from the Moon’s surface. ALL the scientists who examined the rock agreed that it was a rock from the moon. If all the scientists were trained Professionals (like I believe they would be) then those rocks must have been from the Moon. The fourth and final reason is my nineteenth piece of evidence. This evidence tells us that on the Moon’s surface you can actually see the Lunar Buggies tracks. Some people might argue and say that these could have been Moon rover tracks, but I would think there would be some type of difference in tracks because Buggies are more like cars, while Rovers are more like moving cameras. That brings me to believe that these tracks must have been caused by a Moon buggy.
These reasons, all support my claim that “The Moon landings were in fact real.” My pieces of evidence are purely fact and can 100% prove to everyone that the Moon landings WERE real. My opinion cannot be changed unless I’m provided facts that prove me otherwise and therefore prove me “wrong.” All this evidence clearly proves to me that these Moon landings were real and not fictional, I just cannot believe that such a big success as this could ever have been fictitious. I conclude that the famous Moon landings of 1969 are in fact

Within the documentary The Truth Behind The Moon Landings, theorists claim the whole landing to have been staged with props because of the lack of technology, the multiple light sources, and lack of stars in all photo and video evidence. Many people are skeptical about the Apollo 11 landing on the moon because, in the 1960s, NASA did not have advanced enough equipment and technology. Ralph René, a self-taught engineer and author claims, “there’s absolutely no way they went to the moon with what they had, in fact, there’s no way they can go today, there’s no way they can go tomorrow. You don’t send man where you haven't sent the monkey.”…

What if that was filmed in a studio right here on earth? NASA is a very well known American space company that might have lied to you. In 1969 NASA was in a race to the moon against Russia. It is said when the US didn’t know if they would win that they should just fake it. Some evidence shows that it was filmed in a studio and not on the moon, the American flag was waving but if they were on the moon there would be no gravity therefore the flag couldn’t wave.…

There is no telling whether or not these things really happened or are made…

The year is 1961 and the U.S. is six years deep in a space race with the Soviet Union to show off to each other who has the best air and space capabilities. President Kennedy gives a speech saying that we will go to the moon “not because it is easy, but because it is hard” (Engle). Less than a decade later, on July 20th, 1969 at 20:17:40 UTC, the Apollo 13 mission put Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the moon (“Theories”). Ever since that day the people have doubted the fact that we ever put people on the moon. An opinion poll found six percent of American believed the U.S. did not go to the moon, with it jumping to 20% after Fox released the 2001 documentary: Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon?…

However, Paper Moon is not a representation of reality, nor is it meant to be, but rather it’s supposed to be a light-hearted comedy and sometimes that is all a movie is meant to be. If an audience expects Paper Moon to be a historically accurate film, then they will definitely be very surprised if they see Elizabeth (1998) or Everest (2015) both based on actual events. Many people argue whether aliens are real or not, the Roswell incident proves it all. The Roswell incident happened during 1937 to a sheep farmer's house , Mac Brazel. All of the witnesses say it was a UFO crash. When the air force came to investigate the incident they changed up the crash remains by that of a weather balloon to trick the world to think it was a weather balloon. At the beginning when the air force troops didn’t let any people come close.…

The Apollo 11 mission is credited for not only landing a man on the moon, but also for collecting the first samples from another planetary body (SNASM). Through the research, many theories were proven to either be true or false. Prior to the moon landing, scientists had many questions concerning the moon’s surface and even the possibility of life on the moon. Before the moon landing , the idea of life on the moon was widely accepted. Apollo 11, however proved that idea wrong.…

The area I am talking about is that we brought pieces of the moon back with us, rocks that would be nearly impossible to replicate here on earth and would actually be easier to gather by traveling to the moon and bringing them back with us. These rocks are laden with tiny holes from meteoroid impacts that are only possible on a planet with little to no atmosphere. Also, if examined, one would find isotopes that are the result of reactions with highly charged particles that could, again, only happen on a planet with little to no atmosphere. Another piece of evidence that implies a moon landing is the size of the team; at its peak, the size of the team that landed man on the moon was over 300,000. You would think after 45 years someone would have come forward with the supposed…

The one reason that the waving flag, when you look at the photo of Neil on the moon, the flag does know that it 's moving and that is a little odd since there is no atmosphere out there, that is a huge head scratcher just because if they were really on the moon why is it moving. Another reason why I agree with it being a conspiracy is because the claim has it that if they landed on the moon that the crater would be so much deeper and larger than it really is. In the photo, it is not really even visible or ever look like it was moved. Of the 10 reasons that I saw, reading into them really makes me think that maybe the moon landing never really happened. The claims that are being said really make sense, especially if you look at the photos being shown; you see exactly what thousands of others see.…

We Should Not Go Back to the Moon The first time America stepped foot on the moon was on July 20th, 1969, however, the last time Americans stepped foot on the moon is was in 1972. Charles Krauthammer, in the Washington Post, from 2009, argues the we should go back to the moon. Krauthammer states that we go back to the moon “for the wonder and glory of it” and because of the moon's “immense possibilities” (57). Krauthammer fails to mention a lot of vital information that could happen when we go back to the moon like, where will the money come from, the risks of going to the moon, and lastly what benefit would come from going to a place that we have already spent time on.…

On September 12, 1962, president john F Kennedy delivered his “why we chose to go to the moon” speech at Rice University in Houston, Texas. The occasion of the speech was to address to the American people the importance of returning to space and being the first nation to place a man on the surface of the moon. Kennedy chose this time to deliver his speech because we were currently at the height of the cold war and the United States was beginning to lose the space and technological race against the Russian nation. Therefore Kennedy appeared at Rice University where he delivered his speech to a crowd that consisted of scientists, professors, students, and the general American people. The context that shaped Kennedys’ speech was the importance of mankind to achieve the near impossible feat of landing a human being on the surface of the moon and the profound impact that this accomplishment would have on the future of the human race.…

Why not? If the astronauts were trained in a fake moon environment, (which they were), they could have taken picture on a fake moon environment. The rocket could have been real, and went to space, but the astronauts could have slipped out a trap door, sent the rocket to space, and filmed in a studio, elsewhere. I believe that there is more genuine evidence that the moon landings were a hoax by the Americans, to win the space race and not to be embarrassed.…
