There are many causes of the problem of violent crime. First, hate violence is widespread and increasing. According to Civilrights.org, hate violence has increased against Hispanic people in the United States by 19 incidents. Next, gang violence is also on the rise. More and more people are getting killed by gangs despite efforts from governments to combat this. What can we do to combat this violent crime?

First, people don’t want to be in jail for awhile. This would result in fewer crimes because people don’t like being severely punished. Next, there would be less criminals. If people still do crimes, then they would be put in jail longer, and maybe executed, so as a result of that, there will be less criminals.
