This article's main topic begins with the discussion of the relationship in ethnic prejudice from television and educational standing in Italy. Noting that television has become such a large part in human's daily activities, it is seen as each country’s main narrator. With the increase of watching television modern racism is discussed further because there is no longer the face-to-face racism with the improvements in technology and convenience in them. Misrepresentation of certain minorities or ethnic groups in the media can sometimes solidify the negative stereotypes many already had on that group and sometimes create these misconceptions leading to racism. However, what the author believed in her original hypothesis is that with higher education it reduces how much they watch television and their overall ethnic prejudice is lowered. After 401 italians completed the author’s survey it showed that Reality and Variety shows (ex. musical performances, sketch comedy, juggling, magic, etc.) were positively connected, News and Public Affairs were negatively linked, and Films and TV series did not have any obvious impact on ethnic prejudice.
