Ethos Rhetoric Ethos is an important tool of rhetoric where one tries to persuade an audience to agreeing with one wants. Ethos is based on character. In order to prove character to the audience one should prove they have good sense, good moral character, and good will. The news warns its citizens by the threat of letting in ISIS, Israel supremacist, with the refugees. A prime example to this idea is the bombing that happened in Paris in which, a refugee used a fake identification card to be recognize as a refugee. Another issue that they make apparent is the fact refugeed may threaten countries economical security because the countries will have to provide aid for them, which costs money. The money that will be needed to help the refugees may ultimately cause a financial distress upon it’s’ citizens. On the other side of the spectrum in support for providing asylum for its refugees one morals will be in favor of humanity. In retrospect their morals are based more for providing care help and to care for those in need despite
