The Eureka Hornets were down by three with 30 seconds left on the clock when Wiegand and Cooper made the play to save their team and their record. Not only did the boys score the game winning touchdown, they also were the ones who attributed the other two touchdowns.
Throughout the game Cooper had three touchdowns, ran 94 yards, and had three sacks. Wiegand had 12 completed passes and ran 30 yards.

Coach Wiegand has been coaching the Eureka Hornets JFL for eight years, but this is the first year that the Hornets team has a winning record. Even though this is the first year for Wiegand and Cooper they are off to a winning start and plan to for pursue that in the future.
