These three along with “family”, are known as agents of socialization. Agents of socialization are major influences and factors that mold and shape your identity while teaching you different ways to function within a society. My peers were the biggest agents during my life in high school because of all the different cultures and personalities I was exposed to. Although they were my equal, they were sometimes very different. Often times I would socialize with them and they would socialize with me. This would cause our identities to merge and mold differently. My school was the next biggest influence because of the constant contact and socializing they did. The teachers and staff would be a big factor in molding me every single day. They would teach me that being organized and a hard worker is how a student should be. The same goes for my family, as they also influenced me and played a big role in trying to teach me their ways and make me an overall good person in
