The 6th circle of hell in Dante's Inferno is surrounded by iron walls. Burning tombs cover the landscape. Inside these flaming tombs suffer the heretics. They suffer for being to greedy in their life in the world of the living that they failed to believe in God and the afterlife. The heretics receive no break from the field that is full of distress and terrible torment condemned to eternity in this torture. In this circle of hell Dante notices a notable historical figure, the ancient Greek philosopher Epicurus.
My circle of hell would be called Fear. This would be the level of hell reserved for adults that enjoy scaring children and scarring them for life. That enjoy wearing masks and giving their children complexes and then laugh about it when they are still scarred later in life.
