What Freedom Means To Me

Freedom. Something every American is given. Have you ever wondered where freedom came from or what freedom means? To me, the American flag, the bald eagle, and our National Anthem all represents freedom.
Have you ever wondered what the American flag stands for? The stars on our flag stand for the 50 states. The 13 stripes on our flag stands for the original 13 colonies. According to Charles Thomson, the Secretary of the Continental Congress “The colors on our flag stand for purity, innocence, hardness, valour, vigilance, perseverance, and justice”.
