Explain Why We Should Allow Students To Have Cell Phones In Class

We should allow cellphones in class because students can use them as tools to help them learn. In case their is any emergency the can contact their parent or their parent can contact them. They can use them to help one another when they do not understand something their teacher was teaching them. Although it could be a significant distraction. Schools should allow students to have their phones, because you never know what might happen during the school day.

The first reason for why we should allow students to have phones in class is because in case of any emergency they can contact their parents or the parents can contact them. If one student did not understand something they could text each other to understand something form class. They could also ask each other when an assignment was due. If they miss a day of school the can ask their classmate to collect his or her work for the day if they are going to be gone for an extended period of time. They could text each other to get together and go over some homework or if they had a project to turn in they could find out when to get together to work on that project.

Students should be able to have their phones for these reasons. You never know what might happen during the school day. You as the principle should allow the students to have their phones in case of any emergency. The reason some parents give their kids phones is so they know where they are in case of any emergency, if you take that away from some students some parents will feel like they don't have that ability any more.
