The social worker created the ecomap to begin the planning, and implementation of customized care, by offering intervention measures that are not only suitable on cultural fronts on the client, but also comfortable to the administer (Clark, 2002). A positive social worker relationship should be guided by mutual respect and understanding of the client’s beliefs, cultural values and religious aspects of practice. The structure based assessment tool was used while interviewing Veronica Thorpe to evaluate how her family background impacts other areas in her life, and how her multicultural Hispanic background affects her social and psychological functioning.
