David Parker, designer illustration for Complex, wanted to create a book to reach kids at their level. Parker teaches the alphabet and a series of words by using designer labels. Such as D is for Dolce. Parker’s inspiration came from the growing trends he’s seen from children in the media. Parker believes that with the success of kid actors, such like the Stranger Things cast, parents will be even more inclined to purchase designer clothing. Parkers book gained worldwide recognition for how memorable it was.
