Shakespeare had his own way of referring to fate where he uses stars the metaphor of fate to give a better picture to the spectators. The main incident that indicates fate in this play is when Lord Capulet orders his servant to invite the entire guest he wrote it down on the sheet of paper to the party. Unfortunately, the servant was uneducated and he was unable to read the list. He then bumps into Romeo and Benvolio and asks them for help. Romeo reads the list for the servant where, Benvolio tells Romeo to sneak into the party, to see if his Rosaline matches up the other beauties attending.
