Fidel Castro fought for the overthrow of Fulgencio Batista military junta by founding an organization called “The Movement”. Fidel Castro started to fight against Fulgencio Batista from 1953 to 1959. Also, in July 1953 he launched a failed attack on the Moncada Barracks where militants were killed and Castro was arrested. But, in May 1955 he was forgiven by Batista and was no longer considered a threat to him anymore. They fought because Fidel Castro wanted to remove Fulgencio Batista and basically wanted to throw him out of office. But, Batista didn't want to give up anything so they chose to go to war.Lastly, Fidel Castro fought against the leader Manuel Urrutia but eventually overtaking his job. By Fidel Castro being inserted as the leader it made him the head. But, not only as the head but Fidel didn’t have to work under anyone anymore because he was in charge of everybody and everything. Also, he found liberation because he found multiple ways to over power and avoid the U.S when they tried to assassinate him. By, him escaping and avoiding being executed it shows how he found how to get out of trying to be killed over 100 times by the U.S but not one attempt killed him because he fled the scene or tricked the U.S by not being where they figured he would
