Catherine the Great Catherine the Great used to say “I like to praise and reward loudly, to blame quietly”. Which means she likes to praise and reward good, in front of people so everyone knows. But blame is done quietly straight to someone’s face so that it isn’t public. In other words if you do something good I would make sure everyone knows about it. Catherine was related to the Dukes of Holstein through her mother. Which means she, Catherine, was around royalty all her life. The Dukes of Holstein is a state of the Holy Roman Empire.
