Ms Johnson’s class goes out to play every day at the same time this after lunch, Bill loves playing kickball, but other classmates are play with the ball that Bill wants to play with so he begin to kick them, Ms Johnson notice the same behavior repeatedly, after lunch the next as the class line up to go outside ask her class how many student would like to play kick ball today now Bill is grouped with all of his classmate playing kickball, Bill behaviors has been modified he is no longer kicking the students he is kicking the ball.
At free play or center time Bill is screaming at the top of his lungs Ms Johnson tells Bill no screaming Bill begin to scream louder, and now is hitting other students, Bill not getting what he wants, Bill want the center all to himself, Bill is still screaming and hitting, Bill taking out of the group and put in time-out. Bill is really mad now he screams louder and now he is hitting the wall, Ms Johnson just ignores Bill and tells her class to continue to do what they are doing Bill is has now stopped screaming, but he is crying so Ms Johnson tell Bill that it is ok she talks to Bill about why he is in time out she tells him that inappropriate behavior is not allowed in the classroom teaching Bill interacting with his classmate and positive reinforcement Bill improved with more appropriate
