The novel takes place in a school in the centre of a forest. A new biofuel is breeding at an alarming, uncontrollable rate and has no sign of slowing down, three middle schoolers, Tamaya, Marshall and Chad, are in the centre of this catastrophe and they are the only ones who know about it. A monstrous epidemic is about to unfold on the people of this small town and eventually the whole world if nothing is done to stop the infectious rash spreading.

The book starts out as a normal fairy-tale but ends up being a book about a worldwide catastrophe about an aggressive bio fuel that is growing and breeding at an alarming rate and seems to be impossible to stop. Marshall and Chad are the most unlikely friends and until near the end of the book you couldn’t even imagine the two being able to look at each other, but as they are forced to spend time together they become the best of friends and even after the worldwide epidemic ends the two stay friends. The book talks about plausible eco-terrors that are able to occur if there aren’t any regulations or any monitoring on what is being created in the world.
