On “Meet The Press” [MTP] they explained how people just aren't following football as closely as they once did, in 2014 they did a study revealed that 58% of americans americans followed football closely, but a new study says that now in 2018 only 49% of americans follow football closely. In the course of only 4 years there has been an 18.1% drop in the following in football. MTP also says that white men are the main cause in the drop in football, they also explained that the football players protesting and the safety of the players have also caused this drop in following.
