One big problem that is prevalent both in religion and worldwide is gender inequality. Religion guided by Scripture essentially has had an effect on tradition. Sequentially, tradition has had an effect on our world by socially constructing gender norms in which establishes gender roles consequently putting women in a greater state of oppression.
In my opinion, there is an unbalance between those who are privileged (men) and those underprivileged (women). The problem is who those who are granted with beneficial advantages often time do not consider themselves to be categorized as a privileged person, rather they see their social standing as a normative lifestyle- hence leaving the non-privileged in a greater state of oppression.
