In Genesis 1 and in Genesis 2, there are at least 3 ways that religious truths are shown. The first religious truth states that was God created everything that exists in this world. He created the world for goodness, love, and truth. The second religious truth states that God created the world in 7 days with order and purpose. God made the world to show his glory and power. The third and final truth states that God created woman out of Adam’s (man) rib. It symbolizes the sacrament of matrimony and how men and women were made for each other. They were created in God’s image and were given an immortal soul. All three of the truths are focused towards the creation stories.
The literal meaning and figurative meaning are different in very distinctive
