George Washington is by far one of the most memorable people and best role model of America. George Washington shows tremendous amounts of bravery and leadership throughout the war as a general and commander but also as the first president of the United States. Washington setting up the government the way he did and setting good examples shaped our country as a whole. George Washington doing everything he did when he did it was essential for the country. From winning the independence war to setting up America's government Washington has done it all and seen it all and made America a free nation. Washington as president was the “glue” that held the nation together in the war and as a president according to historyplex.com. This means that without George the nation would not have lasted he was what kept it together. Washington set many precedents as the first president but the most memorable in the 2 term policy. People wanted Washington to become their king and Washington's dream was a free democratic country so he refused to be king. Washington’s goals are starting to show now and the country because of him is becoming the independent nation they had dreamed of. Washington was by far one of the best role models America could ask for he always put what was best for the country first even if the people didn't like it he did what needed to be done and that is what shaped us today.
