Learning something new can be a terrifying experience. One of the most difficult things I’ve had to learn was learning how to play the guitar. I have always been afraid of learning new things, but I decided that learning how to play the guitar would be an advantageous skill to learn. I also thought that it would help me become a better musician. What I did not visualize was that learning something new would shape me into a more confident person. Trying new things has always been difficult to me, but over the years I have become more at ease when trying something new.

The crew trainer approached me and said “Hi, my name is Nicole and I will be your trainer for the next three days.”
I replied back, “it 's a great honor to meet you Nicole, I am Josh.”
During my first day of training Nicole had me watch a couple introduction videos for the tasks that I would be performing. After the videos she took me out to lobby and instructed me on how to clean the tables, restrooms and parking lot. When performing these tasks I would always have a couple great questions to clarify anything I did not understand. After lobby was complete she took me over to the fry station to learn how to cook the fries and scoop them. Three hours went by and it was time to go home. Thinking to myself with pride one day of work is complete.
After a year of working there had passed I was presented with the opportunity of becoming a crew trainer. As a crew trainer you have to coach the new employees on the stations they are assigned to. As a crew trainer, I learned to take on new responsibilities and played more of a leadership role. This helped me to face my fears by allowing me to learn new stations and interact with more
