Hermes Trismegistus Research Paper

The history of magic can be dated back to an Egyptian god know as Thoth who is the god of wisdom and magic. However, in Greek he was known as Hermes or Hermes Trismegistus (thrice-greatest Hermes). The name thrice-greatest Hermes is derivative from the “Emerald Table of Hermes Trismegistus” in which contains the secret of the prima material and its transmutation. In which, it set a foundation of the arts and its Hermetic tradition for Alchemists to create the philosopher stone or the stone of knowledge.
