Hillary Clinton Persuasive Speech

With the horse race election drawing to a close, the time to sway voters’ choice wanes. With all the recent muckraking happening in the last weeks, the positive aspects of each candidate remains evasive. Hillary Clinton’s email scandal and reputation as a pathological liar defaces her accomplishments, much like a hero’s past barrs her future. Likewise, Donald Trump’s female predator status and narcissism represents him as unfavorable and beastly. However, Eugene Robinson, a democratic columnist, sees Clinton through Michelle Obama’s famous words, “when they go low, we go high.” As Trump’s scandals reveal themselves, Clinton’s rating increases. But rather than focusing on Trump’s scandals, Robinson focuses on the trials and rewards of if Clinton wins the presidential election and the trail she blazes for all other women in the United States.
