Did Claudo really do this to Hero. What really happened at the wedding. The title of this play is much ado about nothing by the famous Shakespeare. In this play much ado about nothing the villain Don John plots to foil the wedding of Claudio and the “sweet Hero”, but I believe there is a different story to this. Why does Claudio foil the whole wedding. “I would never marry rotten orange” said Claudio . In this last quote it says that he will never marry a girl that “cheated” on him. The same hero he thought was perfect. The unfaithful lady slandered and killed on the most wonderful day of her life. This is all stuff said to Claudio by don john to miss treat and slander the name of the sweet hero. But in Claudio’s defence he was told wrong

Borachio hatches a devious elaborate plan, which shows his cunningness. Hero and Claudio’s wedding surely is not the only event that Don John wishes to mess up; Borachio probably assisted Don John in other sinister plots as well. However, Shakespeare keeps the audience in the dark on the reason why Borachio choses to help Don John, as he has no visible gain. It is also ironic that Don John is the one out for vengeance yet it is Borachio who comes up with the plan. Borachio also is very perceptive, as he knows just how to convince Claudio and Don Pedro.…

Since he felt this way, I believe he wanted Claudio and Don Pedro to feel just like him and that is why he said Hero was dead and sent them to mourn and write a speech about Hero, and then come back in the morning to marry the niece of Leonato, since no longer was Hero alive. Leonato definitely wanted these men to feel ashamed. He wanted them to feel ashamed that they had falsely accused a wonderful girl, ashamed that they had potentially killed her, and ashamed that they had to admit to everything through the speech and an arranged marriage. From everything that happens from the canceled wedding to the new wedding, I can grasp what it may have been like living in the 16th century. First of all, I can see how men are superior to women, in both politics and in general.…
