The French and Indian War affected the political relationship between Britain and its American Colonies by leading to the establishment of the Proclamation of 1763. The Native Americans weren’t thrilled about the Proclamation, but found it to be the best bargain that they could get. Colonists were angered, however, and they believed they were being deprived of their right to freedom.
