Have you ever been frightened by aneye? Have you ever wanted a thirst for a kill? Well on the poem Tell-Tale Heart, the narrator wanted to kill the old man for his eye. He loved the old man but it was just the eye, an eye of a vulture, which freaked the narrator. At the end he ended up killing the old man and hiding his body in the floor, which was later discovered by police when the narrator confessed due to his Paranoia. I strongly believe that this story is appropriate for my age and grade level because the story was meant for entertainment and suspense, we are at a mature age and we make our own decisions, and it can help us learn more and it help us explore new genres and stories.

We are 13-15 years old and we know right from wrong. “I cleverly hid the body under the floor.”The narrator don’t tell us how to get away with murder, it just he gave us some information to go along with the story. It also don’t tell us to go kill someone because of their eye. We see violence on Tv everyday, but people we don’t go around killing people. Anyways, i think it is appropriate because we are at a mature age and we make our own desicions.

Bone Gap by Laura Ruby is a fantasy book about perspective. A main topic in the book is the difference between looking and seeing. It includes imagery of fantasy, different views of self-image, and the heavy burden that beauty can be and the detrimental ways we look at and treat women. It can be dreadfully tense and there is this feeling of anxiety that runs throughout the novel. The book is romantic when it needed, empowering where it counts, and is simply beautiful in its telling.…

I also really like the story telling part, I can tell that the author Morris Gleitzmann wrote the book with a story in his mind, that he wanted to get across to the readers. It's a kind of sad and brutal story, but I think it's important that it gets shared and that people read it because that way they can get educated on what the worlds really like in some places. And it makes me appreciate, how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful country.…

One example in particular that stands out is when the narrator accidently wakes the old man, and says, “For a whole hour I did not move a muscle, and I did not hear him lay down.
