In this novel Mark Twain writes about Huck helping out a slave named Jim. Jim and Huck form a special bond that is seen as wrong in the public eye. Although Huck has to make a decision to face his dilemma whether or not to help Jim, Jim is like a father figure to Huck helping him grow and learn about life. In the novel The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, Hucks development of conscience and morality throughout the book are shown by him being a good samaritan, empathy and emotions, greed and through family values.
